Achievements

Sandra Ocampo has supported the following district projects and policies:

New School RSJHS

Rancho San Juan High School -  the first new school built for over 20 years to help reduce overcrowding.

New Solar Panels

New Solar Panels at all the sites to reduce  impact on  climate and to generate savings to the district's budget.

Wellness Center

The district's first Wellness Center being built to support mental and social-emotional health.

Cafeterias Expanded 

Expanded and new speed lines in cafeterias to assist with feeding all students, for free, regardless of their family income.

New Multipurpose, & Childcare Center

 

Mount Toro School - new multipurpose room and new Childcare Center.

Graduation Requirement

The SUHSD Board adopted Ethnic Studies as a graduation requirement for all students.

New Classrooms

Regional Occupation Program (ROP) -  new classroom building to support industry training programs.

19 Million in State and Federal Dollars

The SUHSD Board also voted to provide over 19 million + (federal and state) dollars to protect students, school staff, and the community from COVID-19.
